Greater Western Plumbing was started in January of 2011 by Dustin Waltz and Mike Stahlman. Friends since high school, their career paths came together when the entrepreneurial bug caught them both at the same time. They joined forces, combining Dustin’s plumbing skills and Mike’s business sense. Dusty earned his master plumber’s license, Mike became an apprentice of the plumbing trade, they formed an LLC and the rest is a Cinderella story.
Meet The Staff!
Dustin Waltz – Dustin received a plumbing degree from Southwest Technical College in Wisconsin and apprenticed there. He moved to Colorado Springs for a lifestyle change and to be closer to the mountains. Dustin is an amazing Denver plumber, he knows the code forwards and backwards and can usually diagnose a plumbing issue over the phone. He is an avid skier, an excellent athlete, and a huge Brewers fan. When he isn’t plumbing, he can usually be found somewhere in the mountains, hanging out with friends downtown, or watching the Brewers, Badgers, or Packers.
Mike Stahlman – Mike has always had an interest in construction and the trades, but it was fall of 2011 that he ventured in full-time at the prospect of owning his own business and helping Dusty. In March of 2016 he tested for and passed his Master Journeyman Plumbing test. He has done siding, property management, carpentry, and a bit of electrical work. Plumbing seemed like the next most obvious choice. He and his wife Mary live in Longmont with their children Grace, Graham, and Greta.
Ronnie Porter – Ronnie, his wife Ashley, and their daughter Lily live in Firestone CO. As you can see in the picture, they love hockey and the Colorado Avalanche. Ronnie Joined Greater Western Plumbing in July of 2014 and hasn't looked back. When he isn't at work Ronnie can be found working around the house, playing hockey working on his Toyota Matrix, or chasing Lily and Emma around.
